The Roxy is no stranger to mind blowing shows - but the show last night with The Sex Pistols, has got to be near the top of our list! It seemed so fittting to have them on our stage - the original punk rockers - and Johnny Rotten still knows how to hold it down. With it being their first show in 4 years, AND their only US date, we just have to say how honored we are to have had them here. Thanks to everyone who made it possible! And to all those fans who were lucky enough to witness history - thanks for rocking out with us!

A blog entry from our pal Dann S:

You’ll never guess where I was last night.
    a Sex Pistols show.
Steve Jones (SP guitarist) has his own radio show on 103.1
(www.indie1031.com) and they somehow got Jonny Lydon (Rotten) to do
the show with the original bass player Glen Matlock. They did it at
the ROXY tonight…but they didnt sell ANY tickets..you could only win
them on the radio..of course i didnt get in…i tried ALL of my
resources..my friends who work at the ROXY couldnt even go unless they
    were working that night.
SO….i went and listened from the sidewalk..it was pandamonium!!!!
I went alone, but one of my best friends Nikki Darling met me there.
We stood directly infront of the door. When it opened we could hear
them playing - it was so surreal to hear them LIVE!
Then, after begging the door guys to open the doors, they finally left
them open so we could really hear the show. There was a crowd out
there and we were all singing and cheering — and when people would
walk out during the set, we’d give them shit — like real shit, we
    were throwing stuff!
I was in a perfect spot…i could SEE the show’s reflection on a
picture hanging in the lobby of the venue!!! I could actually see it
    – i know im geeking out over this!!!
    But it was seriously amazing.
Music fans out there KNOW how legendary this experience was.
    WOW.
    Amazing.
