Tyson Ritter and The All-American Rejects, are a force to be reckoned with. Lucky for us, we witnessed it first hand. In the grand scheme of mesmerizing front men we’ve welcomed to the stage this year - Tyson tops the list. His charisma and charm are just as bright as the glitter he donned. Such an amazing 2 nights. One of the true indie darlings of 2009 are taking the stage next week - and we cannot wait to see them live. We’ve been hearing the buzz from the Eastsiders for a while - and they are even featured on everyone’s favorite soundtrack (’Twilight’ of course!). Check it next week, along with our local favs Chasing Kings and Amaad Wasif. KROQ Locals Only never fails!
Their is a certain momentum that builds when a band plays our stage for multiple nights…and we can’t wait to see the magic that happens when The All-American Rejects play not one, but TWO shows at The Roxy. The timing couldn’t be better as we head into the home stretch of 2009, and start composing our “best of” lists. We have a hunch these shows might make the cut. A pleasant surprise to find out that the uber-cool article about Nic Adler hit the stands today in the New York Times. It’s a pretty big deal..and aside from being honored to be part of this whole movement, we couldn’t be more proud of our main man. The article is such a great way to begin to close out 2009. It’s been a tough one, and we know only better things are ahead for us. Hard work pays off, and it’s nice to be reminded of that sometimes. Thanks to everyone who comes and supports not only The Roxy - but the entire Sunset Strip!

Classic rock n roll super-group Camp Freddy is helping us close out the year right!! For 3 weeks, the boys bring us thru the decades of the 70’s (Dec 4), 80’s (Dec 11), and 90’s (Dec 18). The “Golden Ticket” has sold out - but tickets are still available for all three shows! Thru the years they have been one of our favorite shows - and we can’t wait to spend the holidays together!
