Sex Pistols Live at The Roxy

www.theroxonsunset.com

Can you believe it? It’s true, Indie 103.1 is bringing the one and only SEX PISTOLS (with all original members!) to The Roxy Theatre. Listen to Indie 103.1 for details and to win tickets.

  • not sure about the number. you can listen to win or you can go to http://indie1031.com/contests/enter.php?c=185 to enter to win.
  • lil missy
    what's the indie number???
  • I wish we had a good answer for you but unfortunately the best thing I can tell you is not to buy a plane ticket if you have not won a ticket on air. This show won't have any extras for sale ever.
  • Hope
Hey, I am from KY and am going to be in LA the 25th...no way I can listen to Indie, but my husband has been a Pistols fan forever. Any chance for an out-of-towner to win tickets?
  • Well, BookKillrr, we would have to agree to disagree. The Roxy Theatre has never been a pay to play venue. We have shows with local bands performing and we let them sell tickets to their friends... being that the music industry is in fact an industry it does come down to selling tickets and having bodies in the room and bands are just as responsible as venues are. If you take a look at our schedule as of late you'll see that we in fact are not a rental hall at all and have booked some incredibly great shows with some incredibly talented musicians. Maybe you were looking at another venues calendar when you posted that comment... we want you to have your voice and your opinion but maybe you should do some research before you make an uninformed statement.

Remember when the Roxy use to actually book bands that people wanted to pay to see. Now it's all bands that pay to play, and it's like a big waste of a club. It's all a scam. Come out to L.A. and pay a club like the Roxy so your band can not only play, but beg every friend you know to come out and see you. Such a shame. Sunset Blvd. was the place to go if you were into music. Not any more. It's loser band, after loser band appearing at "The Roxy" Too bad, it's not that difficult to line up a few good bands and actually sell tickets and drinks. Have you even tried it? This is now a rental hall, not a club.
    Too bad.
