If you’re working a 9-to-5 and starting to feel burnt out and without prospects, it’s worth your while to begin looking for a way out.

In today’s age, it’s as easy as ever to find that way out by starting your own work at home business.

With this in mind, read on and apply these tips so that you can make the move to working from home.

1. Stay At Home Jobs Take The Ceiling Off Your Income

When you’re thinking about going the stay at home jobs route, you’ll be glad to know that the first place you’ll notice a difference is your income potential.

Working for someone else leaves you beholden to the hours they give you or the salary they pay. If you work for yourself, you’ll find it far easier to earn as much money as you need to, on your terms.

By taking this ceiling off of your income, you’re better able to chase your dreams.

Think about it for a second. If you’re like most people, you’ve probably dreamt of a life that is filled with lots of riches and abundance.

How can you do this while working a 9-to-5 for someone else?

While it’s not impossible, this is the question that you need to ask yourself so that you’re not deluding yourself into thinking you’re on that path. If a limitless income isn’t a priority, that’s one thing, but if it is, you’ll likely have to work for yourself to make that happen.

Even if your dreams aren’t monetary, you’ll want to earn money so that you don’t have to worry about your finances. For instance, if your dream is to have more time for your kids, working stay at home jobs allows you to breathe a sigh of relief about paying your bills and gives you more autonomy over your days and weeks.

2. You Can Control Your Time

When working for yourself, never forget that there are no rules.

You can map out your day however you’d like, so don’t allow yourself to get caught up in the stresses of having to complete work by 5 p.m. Craft your days and workflow to suit you, from choosing a virtual office San Diego if you so choose, or setting up a nice home office.

Above all, be sure that you choose a workflow that is best for your lifestyle.

If you love to jog every morning in order to pump those good endorphins, set your workday up around it and don’t compromise that. These little freedoms are some of the biggest joys of working stay at home jobs since you’re not stuck in the traditional schedule model.

Use your time to your advantage so that you can make your business and personal lives work for you.

3. You’ll Be Able To Fund Your Own Ventures

When you have more income, you’ll have more money to fund any sort of dream that you have.

If it’s a new business, you’ll have the capital to get you up and running. If your dream is an investment, such as buying a rental property, you’ll have the money to make the purchase that suits you.

This opens your life up tremendously and helps you to make more decisions that you otherwise were not able. Many people use stay at home jobs as a stepping stone toward more long-term business ventures.

Always set goals and work toward achieving them each step of the way so that your income supports you in funding your dreams.

4. It Gives You The Freedom To Travel

Who doesn’t like to travel?

If you want to get out and see the world, you can’t go wrong with working stay at home jobs. When you go this route, you’ll be better able to achieve that goal of funding your trip to Africa, or to take that cruise you’ve been putting off.

Traveling should be treated as a necessity in this day and age since it’s easier than ever to book a trip and jump on a plane. It enriches your life in so many ways — allowing you to expand your horizons, relax, have new adventures and find new business opportunities.

Depending on how far your earning potential takes you, you might even look into purchasing a vacation home that gives you a place to stay anytime you’re in the area.

When you travel, you’ll come back home refreshed and ready to handle your work with more vigor.

5. Being Your Own Boss Will Open Your Mind To Possibilities

Finally, the mental benefits are well worth the time and effort it takes to work from home.

When you see that you can earn a living without having to show up to an office and answer to someone, you’ll want to see what other life hacks you can employ. By taking the time to go this route, it becomes much easier to see opportunity and take advantage of it.

5 Benefits of Booking a Niagara Falls Hotel Package

Are you interested in visiting Niagara Falls in the near future? Will this be your first time to the area? Are you hoping to have the time of your life?

It doesn’t matter if you are visiting alone or with your family. It doesn’t matter if you are visiting for business or pleasure. There should only be one thing on your mind: having an enjoyable experience.

As you begin to research your trip, you’ll find that there are many hotels vying for your business. Some of them have even hired a marketing agency to give them the best possible chance to connect with their target audience.

The way you book your trip is your decision, but don’t overlook the many benefits of looking for Niagara Falls hotel packages online on a site like Expedia. Need more convincing? Here are 5 benefits of booking a hotel package for your next trip to Niagara Falls.

1. Easy to Find Online

There used to be a time when booking a Niagara Falls hotel package meant calling a travel agency, hearing about all your options, and attempting to make a decision without access to a lot of information.

Thanks to the internet, you no longer have to go down that path. You can now find a variety of Niagara Falls hotel packages online, ensuring that you’re in position to compare all your options.

2. Lower Price

You should always look to save money when taking a trip. Even if money is no object, nothing changes the fact that there are steps you can take to save a few dollars here and there.

When you book a Niagara Falls hotel package, everything is included in your price, but when you separately book different aspects of your trip, this isn’t the case. Subsequently, your costs can quickly rise.

3. Plenty of Options

Many people shy away from hotel packages because they don’t think they’ll have access to the best deals. You don’t want to get into this frame of mind. You can find plenty of options, as long as you search the internet with an open mind.

For example, there are travel packages for people on a budget. There are also travel packages for those traveling with children.

As long as you know what you want, you can find an option that suits your needs.

4. Customization

It goes without saying, that you’ll come across several Niagara Falls hotel packages. At first, you may not like what you see. However, remember this: most packages allow you to customize the details of your trip.

So, if you’re traveling with your children who enjoy webtoon comics, you can take this into consideration when comparing hotels. Maybe you’re traveling to Niagara Falls on your honeymoon. Once again, you can customize the trip to match the wants and needs of you and your partner.

5. Less Stress

There is never a good time to stress yourself out. This is particularly true when taking a trip. After all, this is supposed to be an enjoyable experience.

If you get stuck booking everything one piece at a time – such as your hotel, flights, and rental car – the stress of lining everything up can begin to bog you down.

With a Niagara Falls hotel package, you don’t have to worry about this. Once you choose your package, you know that everything you need will be waiting for you. Talk about a great way to reduce stress!

Read Online Reviews

As a final point of advice, it always makes sense to read online reviews before booking a hotel package. Sites like Oyster are dedicated to reviewing hotels, so take advantage of the time they’ve already spent! This will provide a clear view of what others think of the hotel, thus giving you an idea of what to do next.

You don’t have to believe everything you read, but you can pick up plenty of solid information by reading online reviews. You might as well take full advantage.

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it. These are just a few of the many benefits of a Niagara Falls hotel package.

If you want to visit the area in the future, this is one of the better ways to get all the necessary details in order.

Do you have any experience traveling to Niagara Falls? Did you ever book a hotel package? What were the pros and cons of doing so? Share your experience and advice in the comment section below.

How To Prepare For An Amazing Coachella 2018

Though its first weekend may be in April, Coachella marks the unofficial start to summer. Acting as the starter’s pistol to the festival season, it’s one of many concert events scheduled for the upcoming months. But as the first, it’s always one of the biggest. This year, Beyoncé returns to headline with The Weeknd and Eminem to make good on her promise after her cancellation in 2017. Other notable performers on the lineup include SZA, Post Malone, and Grammy-nominated Cardi B.

You don’t need any reminders of the bill if you were lucky enough to snag tickets and a camping site to this year’s festival. What you may need help with is how to prepare for the biggest music event of the year. While the festival’s website has their official advice, you’ll want to keep reading to see these helpful tips.

Wear something fashionable yet sensible

Fashion is a top priority for most concert goers. That’s totally justifiable when you could be pushing up against some of the music industry’s and Hollywood’s biggest stars, all of whom are rocking the latest trends provided by the hottest designers. It’s better to face the facts now: you’re never going to go as hard as Rihanna when she wore her crystal Gucci bodysuit in 2017.

Remember these are the same people who have unlimited access to VIP kept frosty by air conditioning. Many of them have handlers who keep them hydrated with ice-cold bottled water. They can get away with clothing choices that are a less than sensible for a weekend concert under the hot desert sun.

As for you and the regular attendees, you’re going to have temper your fun and stylish outfit with practical additions. Here are some tips:

  • Think about headgear. You’re going to be under the sun all day, so you’ll want to wear a hat. Baseball cap, sun hat, or student cap. It doesn’t matter as long as you stay away from tribal headdresses. Even Teen Vogue knows it’s culturally offensive.
  • Think layers.Coachella’s known for its bohemian festival looks. A bikini top covered by a flowy kimono, paired with short shorts, would tick all the fashion boxes and help to keep you cool.
  • Think footwear.Coachella is a festival where you’ll be dancing with thousands of other people. The grounds are going to get muddy, and people are going to step on your feet. Protect your them by wearing something comfortable and closed-toed, like boots or sneakers.

Protect your phone

Your phone plays an important part to your festival. It navigates your way to the site with step-by-step GPS instructions. It finds the friends you lost along the way with a quick text. It makes memories with its digital camera. (And after all the partying, you’ll be happy to have some kind of record for all the crazy things that happen).

If you expect your phone to be your Coachella multi-tool, it has to survive the weekend. Many of the festival’s biggest features — the mud, the heat, and the jostling — aren’t kind to your handset. One wrong move and your phone could find its way to the mud, where it’s trampled underfoot. That’s why you should kit it out with an Android or iPhone skin. It’s a grip-enhancing accessory that’s both grime- and scratch-free, so you’ll find it easier to keep in your hand — even if you find yourself in a mosh pit.

Not all skins are made with Coachella in mind. If you’re looking for an iPhone skin that will match your festival outfit, stop by dbrand and search through their selection. They have a huge following on Twitter and Instagram because of the premium styles they offer on a wide range of handsets. Whether you opt for a monochromatic color or a hardwood skin, you’ll find a design that matches your street style perfectly.

Bring sunscreen

Underneath the strong Californian sun, you won’t have to wait long to see a burn develop. Don’t make the mistake of getting sunburnt on the first day. Not only will it increase your chances of getting skin cancer, but it will also make the rest of the weekend incredibly painful. Pack a big bottle of sunscreen along with your toiletries. Make sure it’s at least 30 SPF — though the higher the SPF the better — and remember to apply it regularly.

Stay hydrated

If you didn’t know any better, it would be reasonable to think Coachella was designed to dehydrate its attendees. Indio, California in April is hot. And it doesn’t help that festival rests at the basin of the Coachella Valley, leaving little to obstruct the sun’s rays. If you do the festival’s 3Ds (dancing, drinking, and drugs) you’ll dehydrate even faster.

It’s important that you drink as much as possible as often as possible. You can buy bottled water, but it’s cheaper and more environmentally friendly to take advantage of the festival’s free water. A water bottle won’t cut it, unless you’re willing to refill every hour and risk missing an important set when you’re stuck in line.

Invest in something like a Camelbak. Fitting over your shoulders like a backpack, a Camelbak is easy to keep on you — even when you in the middle of a huge crowd. The average Camelbak has a 1.5-liter capacity, so you won’t have to leave often to fill it up.

Let’s be honest — it’s impossible to prepare yourself for the kind of fun you’ll have at the festival. Those experiences are just something you’ll have to live through to believe. But you can do your part to make sure you’re ready for the realities of Coachella, so you can make the most of your time at the festival. Take heed of the advice here and you’ll be well-equipped for your weekend of music.

Why You Should Consider a Career In Nursing

Whether you find yourself looking for a new career path, perhaps your very first one, or you are looking to build on relevant experience that you already have, a career in nursing offers a number of benefits. First and foremost, it is an industry like none other when it comes to the rewarding nature of the work. As a nurse, you will be helping people through some of the most difficult experiences in their life, while also learning numerous skills that are widely applicable to other aspects of your life.

The rise of online degrees has meant that studying for the first levels of qualification that are required before you can work as a nurse is now a possibility for more people than ever before. Online degrees allow individuals to study at their own pace and for a much cheaper cost than attending a traditional brick and mortar educational establishment.

Career Progression

Nursing is one of the few professions where career progression is all but guaranteed. Each time you want to progress to the next level of nursing, you will need to obtain the necessary qualification. You can choose to study these whenever you like which means that you can work at each level of the profession for as long as you like and then begin studying when you want to progress.

Some institutions run schemes whereby they will pay a portion of an employee’s tuition fees when they are pursuing the next level of their career.

Expand Your Skillset

As you progress through the various ranks of nursing you will find that at each stage you are faced with new and different challenges and therefore you will build on a diverse range of skillsets, beyond those which you obtain from studying.

Much of the learning that nurses do is done on the job and comes from direct experience in delivering patient care. As you progress up to the masters level, having completed your RN to MSN degree, you will be able to select a specialty. Many nurses choose to study an RN to MSN online and then, once they reach the masters level, they remain there for a while in order to gain experience in their chosen specialty.

You can progress through the ranks of nursing at your own pace and there is no pressure to advance immediately from one level to the next.

Career Opportunities

Earning the various nursing degrees will open up the possibility of working in a number of different professions outside of the hospital setting. Nursing encourages the development of a variety of skills and many of these are useful in other areas.

Experienced nurses can find a variety of job opportunities, for example they are a required presence on many film and television sets. The nature of nursing means that the courses are designed to be studied while working and so rising through the ranks and earning a better salary doesn’t require you to take time out in order to complete a degree.

Nursing offers a varied and challenging career, and one that is rewarding in a way that few others are. If you think that you would enjoy working as a nurse then consider signing up to study for a relevant degree.

Six Things to Do When You Visit New York City

Source

New York City is one the most visited cities in the world. In 2016, over 60 million people visited New York to take in the city so nice they named it twice. New York is home to over 8 million people who live within roughly 305 square miles of the city limits, making it one of the most densely populated cities in the world, second only to Paris. As such, every corner of the city holds unique wonders that visitors should try to see.

Whether you have just launched a few new business ideas that took off or are a traveler interested in a budget-conscious trip, this article will help you to discover parts of the city that only true New Yorkers know about.

  1. Avoid the tourist traps

Time Square, the Empire State Building and Circle Line Cruises are all tourist traps. True New Yorkers avoid these destinations like the plague. While you may be interested in visiting these locations due to cultural or historical significance, know that if you do you will not be seeing the city that most New Yorkers know and love. Instead, you’ll be experiencing a tourist destination that caters to the desires of out-of-towners.

Instead of going to the tourist traps mentioned above, check out some of the significant but less popular locations mentioned later on in this article.

  1. Understand the reputation of each neighborhood

New York is divided into a series of neighborhoods. Due to social norms and zoning laws, each neighborhood has developed a unique characteristic that is all its own. Before planning your trip, take a minute to survey a map of New York neighborhoods and try to visit as many as possible.

Among a few of the neighborhoods to visit is the Upper West Side, home to the Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Opera, and famous apartment buildings like the Dakota and the Apthorp.

SoHo is another great neighborhood to check out, it features trendy popup stores, cute bars, and high-end restaurants like Balthazar and the Mercer Kitchen.

Williamsburg Brooklyn is yet one more great New York neighborhood. Many credit its residents for giving rise to the “hipsters.” Visitors should check out Output or the Music Hall of Williamsburg for great music, grab a drink on the rooftop bar at McCarran Hotel, and head to Fete Sau for great barbeque.

  1. Head to Queens for great ethnic food

One study found that Queens New York was one of the most diverse places in the world. It is because of this diversity that Queens is home to a number of fantastic ethnic eateries that allow visitors to sample from a wide variety of delicious and hard to find food. Among the restaurants to check out are the Arepa Lady, which serves delectable South American pastries, and Mu Ramen, which features authentic Japanese ramen.

  1. Check out a show at the Comedy Cellar

Located in the iconic Greenwich Village, the Comedy Cellar is one of New York City’s great comedy clubs. Famous comedians like Jon Stewart, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, and Louie CK all got their start performing at the Comedy Cellar. As a result, it is not uncommon for these and other famous comedians to take the stage from time to time.

  1. Listen to Jazz at the Village Vanguard

Nothing says old New York like a great jazz nightclub. Founded in 1935, the Village Vanguard is an important historic center of New York and of American music history. Great jazz musicians like Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans and John Coltrane either performed live or recorded albums there. Today, the Vanguard regularly hosts world-famous jazz musicians.

  1. Got to the Whitney to check out great art and fashion

The Whitney Museum is located in the Meatpacking District, near the Highline. This makes it well situated within a great New York neighborhood, and next to another great New York attraction.

Visitors should check out the exhibits inside of the Whitney (which change on a regular basis) and should then head to the trendy shops and restaurants in the Meatpacking District before taking a stroll on the Highline.

Conclusion

There are always numerous reasons not to take a trip. Maybe you don’t want to leave the house before you fix your leaky faucet or you are simply waiting for a big raise before setting off for the Big Apple. Whatever your excuse, know that when you do eventually make it to New York City, there are a plethora of intellectually stimulating, fun, and eye-opening experiences waiting for you when you arrive.
