How much fun did we have on Friday!?!?
It was so great meeting all you amazing international and local fans - we had a blast!
The whole Tokio Hotel process was amazing…and with the end result being an amazing, sold out, loud, fanatic show- who can ask for anything more?? We were honored to host the FIRST show ever, in the US for Tokio Hotel - and we hope they will visit us again soon. Since we’ve had such fun interacting with all of you - if you were lucky enough to attend the show- tell us what your favorite song was! What was your favorite moment?

i have no words for how PROUD i am that the band was so well-received at the Roxy! i’ve been following your blooging about the concert and had so much fun- you guys really seem to be WAY awesome!
…actually, i’ve come to love you so much that i’ll definitely drop by for a concert or two when i’m in LA this autumn, TH or no TH. you guys rule!
us fans were lucky enuff to experience it with you guys-that entire day was amazing and i dont think anyone wuld have done it differently.thank you so much Roxy Staff 4 giving us that wonderful oppurtunity and hopefully we’ll do it again in the near future! (but mayb have barricades next time 4 the safety of the boys) lol im amazed at how involved you guys were and how great everything was that took place for the people who were there all day long. friday was an excellent way to start out in america for the boys and thanks to you,the fans, and dedication of everyone,we made it happen!
obviously the entire show was fantastic hands down, but my very top was probably between raise your hands and by your side. raise your hands because tom sang and every second of it was drop dead adorable and the song has a great message for them to the fans.by your side is another story-i was already in love w/ the cd version of the song, but to witness every aspect of it being played live & in person was completely magical and mindblowing.
i culd talk about the show 4ever so i shuld stop! lol however, i was wondering if theres anything The Roxy can do to help promote them through the media-like, do you guys know people that you could tallk to about tokio hotel and get them playing on the radios and music video shows???? if u culd/did, that wuld be so awesome if you culd help out like that!! =]
thanks again The Roxy Staff!!!
The Roxy is so amazing. You don’t know how glad the fandom is for your amazing support, and the fact that you’re as happy as we are. The staff was amazing as well, I feel bad for the body gaurds in front of the stage that were literally being squished between the stage and the fans. I apologize on behalf of the fans if they underwent any injuries
Anyways, again, the Roxy was AWSOME. I had a great time, it was the perfect venue, and I wouldn’t want them to perform any where else for their first show
My favorite song/moment? To be honest, I wasn’t really paying attention. I mean, did you SEE Tom? He was AMAZING, and unbelievably gorgeous in every way. He completley captivated me, so I would say the best moments were when he licked his lips, and did those guitargasms that were to DIE for. That boy is amazing.
My favorite song was Black, though
First of all, THANK YOU so much for supporting the band so much! We(the fans) really appreciate it!
I haven’t been to any of the concerts, but from what I’ve seen on youtube and also read in reviews “Black” is my favourite. Also because I do not like the german equivalent of it.
So thanks again, and all the best…
Lucky(from Germany)
I am so happy I got to experience my first Tokio Hotel concert at The Roxy, you all made it that much more special with your support of the band and the blogging and the interaction with us fans outside the venue.
Bill was my favorite part of the concert that boy is just awesome, so much enthusiasm and passion he sung his little heart out and had us eating out of his hand. The fact that he is so beautiful didn’t hurt either, what a STAR!
Bill, Tom, Georg & Gustav you Rocked!
i loved when bill asked us “do you prefer song in german?”
HES SO CUTE!
AND TOM daaaayyuumm!! licking his lips and biting his tounge, and his smiles,
so cute!!
I LOVED THE SHOW!!
i was like 2 feett away from them!ahh! :]
First Tokio Hotel concert, first time in LA and at The Roxy. I am still high from the energy, awesome concert.
I loved the ending with Durch Den Monsun, the whole band was on Fire and that pause with Bill’s smile lighting up the room priceless.
Roxy peeps you are first class and Bill you’ve taken my heart, to see those young boys rock it like that was uber amazing! I can’t wait for more.
I MISS THEM ALREADY!!!! THE ROXY, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HOSTING THE FIRST EVER TOKIO HOTEL SHOW IN USA!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTLY AMAZING AND EVERYONE LOVES THEM!!
when they come back to california, make sure they play at the ROXY again! it was GREAT!! :]
Thank you again guys! I still can’t believe I saw Tokio Hotel live, wow! It was an amazing night, and I think the Roxy blogging and staff did a fantastic job.
But favorite song? That’s not easy. I was thrilled when they played “Black” live because it’s one of my favorites in both German and English, and it’s not played very often in the European shows, to my knowledge. And gah, it was too cute when Bill was on his knees to sing it!
But the two German songs–”Totgeliebt” and “Durch den Monsun”–those really win. The German songs are very special to me and I’m still ecstatic that they played them here in America! Especially Durch den Monsun. The energy in the room as the fans just screamed and screamed during the pause while the band’s faces lit up…that was just beautiful. That was my favorite song in Friday’s concert.
WOW! Love reading everyone’s responses! Rock on Guys!
My fave song…do you REALLY want me to pick!? That’s way too hard!!! But everyone singing Durch den monsun was just plain amazing…
My fave part would have to be when Tom got up close and personal with my face lmfao! I was afraid if he thrusted his guitar when he wast hat close that he was going to smack my face with the guitar. Luckily (I think) he didnt. I got it on video though wooo~!
I have way too many fave parts, itd have to be the whole damn concert PLUS the line experience was my favorite part haha~! I got there at 7:15am and the whole day and night was filled with amazingness with the raffles, singing, and talking with the security about their TH experiences.
I really would like to thank The Roxy for EVERYTHING. For making this experience happen to me was one of the most amazing things EVER. This was seriously the best concert I have ever been to due to how nice the people working at the venue were and also the band for being SO energetic and not leaving a boring moment EVER. Even before the concert startedt he band was shaking the curtain to get us all excited!.
I would also like to apologize to The Roxy that we crossed over the “magical white line.” It’s really REALLY hard to obey that rule without an actual barrier from the band. Im really happy that the crowd did not touch, fondle, hand-rape the band even though we were literally all up on the stage killing our baby makers lol! I have to thank you so much for coping with us in that situation and I have to apologize again but I thank the fans for keeping their cool and not hurting or touching the band (until the end where that girl flew at Tom and someone grabbed Toms tshirt but hey he was askin’ for it lol).
I would like to thank the security for actually making the line a fun time. there was one security gaurd that was a LOT of fun to talk to and it was fun hearing his thoughts and stories about Tokio Hotel (like his double take to Bill to figure out what the HELL he is lol). They really did an awesome job with the line and directing everyone.
Thank you SO MUCH again The Roxy and hopefully you host Tokio Hotel again (even though staying costed me an arm and a leg) because you are literally my favorite venue so far and I am a BIG concert goer from San Diego to the Los Angeles area. Thank you again and hopefully you had as much fun as we did.
I also have a question:
How would you rate this experience for The Roxy compared to your other concerts lately?
The fans?:
The band?:
I love you Roxy! The show was amazing. It will be hard for anything to top that experience. I had such a great time, everyone was really accommodating, and it was by far the best show I’ve attended. I hope the boys come back to you soon!
As for favorite song, I loved the fan interaction on the final song, Durch den Monsun. We really came together and had an amazing time. Thank you thank you thank you for everything you guys have done!
This was a REALLY great experience for us too! Its always great to see passionate fans - and we definitely embrace it here at the Roxy. We all have stories of when our favorite bands played here, so we know how amazing it is! The TH fans were all really amazing - and it the international aspect really added an extra push to it all. I loved talking to everyone thru out the day, as well as keeping up on the blog. It seems like everyone had a great time…and Im really glad that you all got a little taste of the legendary Roxy. Every show adds that much more to our history…and backstage after soundcheck all the TH guys were telling me how amazed they were at all the posters backstage - ironic that their poster is up their now!
Omg!
It was seriously THE MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
I still can’t believe that the concert happened! My faveorite song? OMG! How am I going to pick? haha. I think I was really happy to hear Raise your Hands together because it was one of the few times they’ve performed it!
It was really such an honor to go to this concert! Thank you SO MUCH Roxy for putting up with us and for having Tokio Hotel there! after the second concert in anaheim got cancelled I was so bummed but then my friend won tickets for this one and XDD It was all good haha!
Thank you soo much!!!!!
I traveled a long way to see them at The Roxy and honestly it was the best night of my life.
Roxy staff you rock.
Gustav you are so solid baby, keep on keeping the rhythm and when you sang a little with Bill during Durch Den Monsun though I couldn’t hear you I think I died a little
Georg you are the dude, so cool.
Tom your singing is a great novelty, but don’t give up the day job, k baby. Your voice is much better suited to talking, preferably to me ;p
Bill you are a supernova and made the show for me and those that don’t give you credit need their heads banging together. Ich liebe dich.
Best moment Bill and Black, I love that song.
*Annie-
did they sign autographs after the show was over? i know they did the meet and greet for the contest winners but is that all they did?
and wat did they say after the show was over-i hope it was ALL positive!!!
Amazing and beyond is 2 words i have to say or maybe there isnt a word(s) that could describe how incredibly awesome it was too see them live playing there 1st US show @ the legendary Roxy it was mind-blowing.
my favorite song they performed would have to be totgeliebt, by your side and rescue <33 gahh at the end of the show when TH left bill tapped at caddilac window & said ”bye” to me haha no one else<333
Roxy a big thanks for having them. You guys hosted it unbelievably well no other place cann possibly top that you guys made everybodys expereince a warming welcome =]

OMG!where to begin? EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING!i really loved by your side because bill looked in the area of the crowd that i was in and sand “i am by your side”…best moment of my life…i hope they become so famous in america so they can play more shows and they are amazing…tom is a lot hotter in person, but bill is still the prettiest, TOKIO HOTEL R DA BEST!
ANNIE, HI!! OKAY SO THEY SAW THE POSTERS?!?
AWWW I LOST MY POSTER IN THE VENUE?!? COULD YOU TELL ME IF THIS POSTER WAS BACK STAGE WITH THEM?
:]
Hey Guys -
Maybe a few lucky ones were able to snag some- but they were in and our pretty fast.
So Kayla, after the show the guys did come up to On The Rox to party a little bit and celebrate the great show. I don’t think they went outside at all…they were on a pretty tight schedule - so don’t hold it against them!
Menah - they did see all the lovely posters that everyone made, the big man collected them all so that no one would be blocked (trust me, a great idea!) and i did see the drummer going thru all the amazing stuff. So rest assured, they saw all your cool posters! They also saw the blog during the day - so they got a sneak peak at all the lovely craziness
o yea and they shouldve played sacred and forgotten children, which are my fav songs…and my favorite moment was when they sang black because they don’t play that song too much so it was really cool that they
ahhh!!! so they sawww mee with my pink poster!!!! thats meeee the one in the purple with sunglasses and a big pink poster!! W00T W00T!! now they know who made that for them!!..just wondering, do you know why they didnt sign autographs? that broke my heart :[[[
