The Roxy witnessed a classic, an epic, a legendary show…call it what you want, but in our minds it was one of the best hip hop performances ever. Big, big ups to Myspace for giving us such a treat. And Mulatto, you guys can hold it down, we want you back soon. We have lots of shots from this show, so watch over the next couple of days for more. It was less than a year ago that the Jonas Brothers rocked our stage - and boy was it fun!!! Now, CAMP ROCK is the hottest thing out right now…and we’re so excited to announce that the star of the Disney Channel movie: DEMI LOVATO, will be using her night off from the sold out Jo Bro’s tour to come rock out! Tickets will be going onsale TOMORROW SATURDAY JULY 12, 2008 at 11:00am. You will be able to purchase tickets thru the box office 310 278 9457 and thru ticketmaster. We know this show will sell out, so please be aware their is a 4 ticket maximum. Also, we are an all ages club so we want EVERYONE to come and enjoy themselves. Parking is very easy and affordable here on the Strip, there is self parking both next door and across the street as well as Valet at The Roxy. We are allowing fans to lineup starting at 8:00am the day of the show. So bring your smiles and stories as I will undoubtedly be blogging the day away.
Tickets are available through The Roxy Box Office, Monday through Friday, 10:30a - 5:30p. Tickets and Will Call are also available 15 minutes before doors open until approximately 30 minutes after the last band goes on. You can buy Tickets by Walk-Up or by Phone. Over the last couple weeks we have been spoiled by Dim Mak and Company. A MSTRKRFT video shoot with with Nore, LA Riots, Felix Cartal, Lazaro Casanova and Steve Aoki. Couple days later Aoki Played The Elements of Life Benefit. Then Crystal Castles came in and basically took over the club. Every email, comment and phone call we received over the last week was about them. So many that we were forced to add a Friday Midnight performance. Both shows were completely sold out. We can’t wait to have them back. It felt as we are starting to witness a change in the music scene and we love it. Check out some of the vids and pics the captured the fun over the last month.

This month will be hard to beat. With so many legendary artists gracing The Roxy stage, it was very hard to find just 10. Camp Freddy had by far the most added to the group, mostly do to having 5 shows this month and a lot of amazing trigger happy photographers. Russell Brand also had many to choose from but i felt this one had special meaning because our own sound guy lee was in the mix. My personal favorite picture, not just because it’s so awesome, but that the Foxboro Hot Tubs was my favorite show in a long time. Again a huge thank you for all who added your pictures to The Roxy Theatre Group on flickr. We now have over 2500 photos and 120 members in just over a month. Keep it coming, Click click!

Foxboro Hot Tubs at The Roxy, OMG! What an exciting show!! This band has caused quite a buzz on the web and we cannot wait to see them live! Because of the demand on this show, you can only purchase tickets in person at The Roxy box office the day of the show. Tickets will be $20 cash and there is a two ticket maximum per person and both people must be together in line to receive the tickets. Have no fear tho, because we are allowing you to lineup starting 8am on the day of the show. So once you are in line and get to the door, you will buy your tickets and immediately proceed into The Roxy. Get ready to strut your stuff on the Sunset Strip and make an event out of it! Meet some fans in line…share stories…and make some new friends. Have no doubt, you will find some internet fame as I will undoubtedly be blogging the line in true Roxy fashion.
