It was less than a year ago that the Jonas Brothers rocked our stage - and boy was it fun!!! Now, CAMP ROCK is the hottest thing out right now…and we’re so excited to announce that the star of the Disney Channel movie: DEMI LOVATO, will be using her night off from the sold out Jo Bro’s tour to come rock out! Tickets will be going onsale TOMORROW SATURDAY JULY 12, 2008 at 11:00am. You will be able to purchase tickets thru the box office 310 278 9457 and thru ticketmaster. We know this show will sell out, so please be aware their is a 4 ticket maximum. Also, we are an all ages club so we want EVERYONE to come and enjoy themselves. Parking is very easy and affordable here on the Strip, there is self parking both next door and across the street as well as Valet at The Roxy. We are allowing fans to lineup starting at 8:00am the day of the show. So bring your smiles and stories as I will undoubtedly be blogging the day away.

June Boom! The Sunset Strip was on fire this month. SSMF, Crystal Castles sold-out midnight show, TRVS+DJAM w/ Too Short and (last but not least)the return of Shuvel, all made June a hit. Coming off of May, we worried if we would be able to keep the great photos coming. We were not dissapointed. Great job everyone! This month will be hard to beat. With so many legendary artists gracing The Roxy stage, it was very hard to find just 10. Camp Freddy had by far the most added to the group, mostly do to having 5 shows this month and a lot of amazing trigger happy photographers. Russell Brand also had many to choose from but i felt this one had special meaning because our own sound guy lee was in the mix. My personal favorite picture, not just because it’s so awesome, but that the Foxboro Hot Tubs was my favorite show in a long time. Again a huge thank you for all who added your pictures to The Roxy Theatre Group on flickr. We now have over 2500 photos and 120 members in just over a month. Keep it coming, Click click!

Foxboro Hot Tubs at The Roxy, OMG! What an exciting show!! This band has caused quite a buzz on the web and we cannot wait to see them live! Because of the demand on this show, you can only purchase tickets in person at The Roxy box office the day of the show. Tickets will be $20 cash and there is a two ticket maximum per person and both people must be together in line to receive the tickets. Have no fear tho, because we are allowing you to lineup starting 8am on the day of the show. So once you are in line and get to the door, you will buy your tickets and immediately proceed into The Roxy. Get ready to strut your stuff on the Sunset Strip and make an event out of it! Meet some fans in line…share stories…and make some new friends. Have no doubt, you will find some internet fame as I will undoubtedly be blogging the line in true Roxy fashion. We know their fans are traveling from near and far for this show - and we can’t wait to see you all! Also, a friendly reminder - no recording devices of any kind, no cameras and/or cell phones will be allowed into the show!

March was a big month here at The Roxy. We had a lot of great shows but these were among our favorites. Rooney, Billy Boy on Poison, Young Dubliners, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Switches, John West and Matthew Santos, The Vacation, The Mooney Suzuki, AJ MCLEAN, Presidents of the United States of America, Kaki King, Candlebox, Dolly Parton and The Expendables all kept us wanting more. A lot of you have been taking some great pictures so we thought we would share them with the world. Buy Tickets for shows at The Roxy Theatre and On The Rox at our Box Office or by phone. The Box Office is open Monday thru Friday from 10a - 530p. Tickets are sold by phone at 3102789457 during the same hours. The Box Office opens on show nights 15 min before doors and does sell advance tickets. Tickets to The Roxy Theatre are also available at ticketmaster.com.
