Having already hosted both the “Paul Green School of Rock Hollywood’s” Beatles and Rolling Stones shows - it is only fitting that we welcome them back for their “All Star” show. These are obviously some pretty amazing little musicians - with some big hearts - as this concert is benefitting the SoCal wildfire victims. These kids can rock…and its sure to be an amazing show - ooops, and did we forget to mention Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell is doing a special performance? Silly us. Gimme, gimme, gimme - the holidays are all about the gimmes and the givies. But only “Gimme Shelter” at The Roxy givies as much as it gimmes. And with everyone from Mandy Moore to Pete Yorn to Phantom Planet playing this year (the final concert after 16 years), that’s something to be thankful for.
What: Gimme Shelter – a rock show with a purpose. Featuring : Pete Yorn, Mandy Moore, Phantom Planet, Mathew Sweet and others to go unplugged and rock The Roxy. Concert benefits the Spectrum Program (for autistic children) at New Roads School in Santa Monica (a rockin’ independent college prep schoold).
Why: School of Rock didn’t end with Jack Black.
