Today is going to be a busy day on this blog. Just wanted to put those little hearts and heads at ease - we DO indeed have two (REALLY GREAT AMAZING) shows next Friday July 18th. This isn’t a mistake or a typo. It’s an eclectic mix, and that’s why the Roxy rox. We can transform from Pop to Hip Hop seamlessly. So, to reiterate - Doors for Radio Disney Presents: DEMI LOVATO are at 7:00pm. Doors for Myspace Music Presents: NAS are at 10:30pm.
It was less than a year ago that the Jonas Brothers rocked our stage - and boy was it fun!!! Now, CAMP ROCK is the hottest thing out right now…and we’re so excited to announce that the star of the Disney Channel movie: DEMI LOVATO, will be using her night off from the sold out Jo Bro’s tour to come rock out! Tickets will be going onsale TOMORROW SATURDAY JULY 12, 2008 at 11:00am. You will be able to purchase tickets thru the box office 310 278 9457 and thru ticketmaster. We know this show will sell out, so please be aware their is a 4 ticket maximum. Also, we are an all ages club so we want EVERYONE to come and enjoy themselves. Parking is very easy and affordable here on the Strip, there is self parking both next door and across the street as well as Valet at The Roxy. We are allowing fans to lineup starting at 8:00am the day of the show. So bring your smiles and stories as I will undoubtedly be blogging the day away.

Possibly best known for their stint as MTV’s first “Band in a Bubble” (They were challenged to write, record and produce a full length album in the 20 days while living inside the bubble, while fans were allowed to access 23 strategically placed web cameras 24/7) they’ve definitely managed so make their mark in the real world. Fresh off of Camp Freddy, Mark McGrath looked like he didn’t get enough of The Roxy. Sugar Ray got up and played two of their biggest hits for the surprised party goers at On The Rox, Fly and Every Morning. So much fun and totally unexpected. Thats why we love what we do, you will never know what will happen. Thanks to Murphy, Rodney, Stan and Mark. Always great to see you guys.

Last night’s show with Foxboro Hot Tubs was nothing short of amazing! Billie Joe has one of the most classic voices in punk rock history and it was such a treat to have him on our stage. We’de like to thank all the dedicated fans who braved the Sunset Strip for hours and hours yesterday.
We hope you all had a great, safe time and that you enjoyed your stay at The Roxy! Wow, the band played so many songs - and we loved them all! What was your favorite part?

As a huge fan of the entire Wombats catalog and with a brand new EP (out last month) we can’t wait for The Wombats to hit town. Now that we’re finally sobered up, we miss Coachella even more!! We hope anyone who braved the heat and dessert had an amazing time like we did!
