Today has been a really really great day! And as the girls and I start wrapping up our work, and get into party mode - we are a little sad! We don’t want this day to end. The energy in the office today was a little like summer vacation…we were a little giddy - everything about our day, and the band, and the crew has been the best EVER. We didn’t quite know what to expect - as we have a little language barrier going on - and we have been pleasantly surprised! The band is adorable - and from what they told us, the have loved being in sunny CA - even if just for a day or two. Now, we are sitting here listening to them sound check and they sound GREAT. Thanks to our neighbors who have been so patient with all the fans today - and our security who came out before the sun sets to make sure everyone was safe. We hope the international fans are having a legendary Roxy experience and they find us again one day on their travels back to the states!

It took us a while to narrow it down to our favorite four - we got so many amazing entries! In the end, we picked the ones that exemplified the true vibe of the night - and something that would catch the eye of the thousands and thousands of cars that cruise by us daily. So congrats if you were one of the lucky final four…you’re halfway there! Okay fans and friends, now’s your time to vote your mind!

First off we’de like to thank all the fans for all their calls and emails…and for their shrieking and celebrating when we sold them tickets over the phone. We are making dreams come true! But in all seriousness, we are so happy that we are able to host the first show EVER in the US for Tokio Hotel - a band that sells out arenas and stadiums in the UK. This band is HUGE. (4 Number one Singles, 2 Number 1 Albums, 3 million albums sold type HUGE). We can’t wait for them to see our beloved Sunset Strip! Rumor has it, that the band specifically wanted to play our Roxy - and for that we are very very flattered! We hope Hollywood treats them well! We hear that fans are coming from all across the country and all over the world to see this super rare club appearance - what a trip! Sounds like a blast! Please contact the Roxy Box office for tickets (10:30-5:30 M-Friday) @ 310-278-9457. And we’re thinking this show is going to sell out ASAP…so don’t wait! Made up of CRegg Rondell (Vocals & Acoustic 12 String Guitar), Dusty Hunt (Guitar), Bill Gower (Bass), and Drummer Johnny Ransom, former Wind-UP Records recording artists BOY HITS CAR are known for playing the sickest, loveliest, ugliest, prettiest, most beautiful, melodic, heartfelt music that the band dubs “LoveCore”. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2001 and included the hit single “I’m a Cloud.”
These Los Angeles natives have toured with System of a Down, Incubus, Papa Roach, and Flyleaf to name a few, and were featured on the 2001 SnoCore Tour, as well as a few dates on the ‘06 SnoCore tour w/Seether and Shinedown. Haven gained a reputation of having one of the most powerful and captivating live shows, the boys have also made their way through Europe on their own headlining tours and played main stage slots at European festivals such as Reading and Leeds in England and Germany’s Rock Am Rink and Rock Im Park, to name a few.
Their new album “The Passage”, (self-financed/co. produced), features the single ‘Escape the World’, which was added to Atlanta’s most cutting edge modern rock radio station, 105.3 ‘The Buzz’, and without the help of any record company, managed to climb to #2 as the most requested song!!! When you hear track 3 off “The Passage”, (officially released stateside in summer of 2006 through Rock Ridge Music), you’ll see why…
