Arguably one of the most buzzed about artist in SXSW this year, and gearing up to play the beloved Coachella festival…we know Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip is going to be huge. Our friends at KROQ already gave it their stamp of approval…which basically means - they’re the next big thing…come check it out! Tickets available thru the box office and thru ticketmaster!
So, the Roxy is out of the big city…and into the country! Texas definitely is a change of pace from the usual Sunset Strip…cheers to road trips - and if you’re in the area make sure you stop by our party at The Belmont!

We are happy to have them back along with Glacier Hiking, Gods and Monsters, and Moving Picture Show. Post - Limp Bizkit - Wes Borland has finally found an outlet for his passion for both music and the visual arts. Always known for his ability to push the limit- Black Light Burns is no exception. And, it’s always a good time when one of our favorite Roxy bands - like, Cage 9 - get to play on a HUGE show, like BLACK LIGHT BURNS. It’s great to watch a band’s music and fan base grow right before your very eyes (and ears). So, if you’re coming to the show tomorrow - make sure you check out all the great support bands! Discover some new tunes…and see Wes Borland’s amazing new project that we are excited to have…rock n roll!
A sweet dance AND a sweet band. IMA ROBOT is definitely one of our favorite bands here at The Roxy - mostly because we love any band that turns the room into one HUGE party - and IMA ROBOT never fails. If you’ve never seen them…now is the time! And for all you IMA ROBOT vets, bring your dancing shoes!

The Roxy is no stranger to mind blowing shows - but the show last night with The Sex Pistols, has got to be near the top of our list! It seemed so fittting to have them on our stage - the original punk rockers - and Johnny Rotten still knows how to hold it down. With it being their first show in 4 years, AND their only US date, we just have to say how honored we are to have had them here. Thanks to everyone who made it possible! And to all those fans who were lucky enough to witness history - thanks for rocking out with us!

Thanks to the LA Weekly, to Goldenvoice, to all the bands, artists and djs that rocked the streets of Downtown LA. And special thanks to all of our good friends (new and old) that stoped by our booth. You made Detour a blast. The Roxy Crew had a great time hanging at our tent that was disguised as a pink disco lounge. We handed out free tickets, stickers and, most popular, our homemade Pink Glowsticks to the thousands of smiling, happy, music loving people. It reminds me that sometimes you need to get out of the office and hit the road, even if it’s just to Downtown. Can’t wait for next year. Please feel to post your own pictures from Detour below.

We are so excited to welcome Nico Stai to the Roxy stage for the first time! A word of mouth artist, who’s been coined as “…the new boss†by Flaunt Magazine and compared to the likes of Matt Costa with his “achingly emotional acoustic tunes. Beautiful melodies and all the sensibilities of the purest singer-songwriters” according to Cd Review.com. We’re pretty happy to have him, along with Monster in the Machine, Robert Francis, and ROCKFOUR. Definitely a show to check out! Oh, and he’s kind of cute.
