Happy Thursday all! We have some shows on the books right now, that will please a plethora of musical tastes and we wanted to give you a heads up of whats going on sale today. DWELE
The new album from “FILTER” has been out for a mere month - so, we’re so pumped to get to hear these new tunes live early in the run. They’re about half into what we hear is a pretty rockin’ tour - so come join us. Tickets are still available, but we’re pretty sure its going to sell out soon. Rumor has it…most of the tour has been sold out - so don’t miss them on the Roxy stage. Come early and catch Opiate for the Masses and The Urgency!

Heads up folks: You will definitely want to pencil us in for next Wednesday (July 16) for a little hip hop lovin’ at the Roxy. Some of the original boys from the old-school Oakland rap scene are passing thru and we are happy to have them. They are some of the pioneers in West Coast rap and it is hot!! Make sure you come and check out one of our favs The Gray Kid, along with Maddie Lauer, and Apoetnomadali.
How excited we are for SHWAYZE next week?? He’s clearly the Buzz of the summer (pun intended…) and even tho we MIGHT be a little biased…we know Shwayze is going to be huge. The hot new reality show “Buzzin” premieres in just a few weeks on MTV, so make sure you come out and celebrate next week with our favorite boys Shwayze, Cisco, and Skeet Skeet. We all know that the SSMF is taking over the Strip full force this weekend! With the help of our friends at Red Bull, we are transforming ON THE ROX into a super swanky VIP lounge - but what good is that, without a great band? Enter, A.i. They’ve been one of our favorite bands for a very long time and we couldn’t be happier to have them rock n roll all night long with us. This is a guestlist event, but wanted to make sure we gave you all a chance to attend as well. So, please RSVP below! Possibly best known for their stint as MTV’s first “Band in a Bubble” (They were challenged to write, record and produce a full length album in the 20 days while living inside the bubble, while fans were allowed to access 23 strategically placed web cameras 24/7) they’ve definitely managed so make their mark in the real world. With Cartel’s brand of pop/punk/rock - you can’t help but want to move. Come move with us…the strip will be rocking, rest assured. Tickets, HERE.
We’ve shown our HOT HOT HEAT love on this blog several times - they’re an office fav and we’re counting down the days ’til they rock the stage. Now, in true Roxy fashion - we wanted to combine our love for the band and our new love for contests and create something spectacular. We love the fan interaction, the ability to show someone a really great experience, and all the submissions! If you are a fan of the band (like us) you know that there are a few things that are SOO very distinct - and now in a classic battle of AFROS vs SUITS - you have the chance to rock the signature look of the band in photobooth (digital camera, poloroid, etc) form. Send us your best shots and give the band a true - run - for - their - style - money. Extra props if you rock the suit and the fro, but only one is required. Our wonderful month of Mayhem with Camp Freddy has really set a high standard for future residency’s to come. Here at The Roxy we like to think we have an ear for what’s hot…what we love…and what bands we know will hit it big. But TOKIO HOTEL fooled us all!! We knew they were huge overseas - but with no album out in the US, we were a little hesitant. But something told us to take the chance - and we did! The rest…lives in Roxy history. A sold out show…a line down the block…fanatic fans from all over the world…and a few new fans too 
To this day, we still remember the Tokio Hotel madness with nothing but good thoughts. We know we hold a special spot in their hearts too! As the Roxy crew gathered around to check out the final version of the album, we were floored when we opened the album to see pictures taken in our very own backstage - and even more exciting was when we took the CD out of the case only to see our very own Roxy artwork. The new album hits stores today - and as the site of their first US show, we hope their 1st US release breaks records!
