Today is going to be a busy day on this blog. You know it’s going to be nuts when you pull into work with 2 lines wrapped around the building…one for Nas one for Demi Lovato…pictures and updates to come! Oh, and if their ever was a time to find us on twitter, today would be the day! To be continued…..
We warned you guys that this show was HOT - and we knew it would sell out! But we hate to hear all the disappointed little fans when they call and ultimately, we want you ALL as part of the show. While we can’t exactly make that happen, we do have ONE PAIR of the coveted DEMI LOVATO tickets to give to a lucky fan.
Don’t forget to come join us tonight as we transform into SHWAYZE’S BEACH HOUSE in celebration of our favorite Malibu boys. Just wanted to put those little hearts and heads at ease - we DO indeed have two (REALLY GREAT AMAZING) shows next Friday July 18th. This isn’t a mistake or a typo. It’s an eclectic mix, and that’s why the Roxy rox. We can transform from Pop to Hip Hop seamlessly. So, to reiterate - Doors for Radio Disney Presents: DEMI LOVATO are at 7:00pm. Doors for Myspace Music Presents: NAS are at 10:30pm.
It was less than a year ago that the Jonas Brothers rocked our stage - and boy was it fun!!! Now, CAMP ROCK is the hottest thing out right now…and we’re so excited to announce that the star of the Disney Channel movie: DEMI LOVATO, will be using her night off from the sold out Jo Bro’s tour to come rock out! Tickets will be going onsale TOMORROW SATURDAY JULY 12, 2008 at 11:00am. You will be able to purchase tickets thru the box office 310 278 9457 and thru ticketmaster. We know this show will sell out, so please be aware their is a 4 ticket maximum. Also, we are an all ages club so we want EVERYONE to come and enjoy themselves. Parking is very easy and affordable here on the Strip, there is self parking both next door and across the street as well as Valet at The Roxy. We are allowing fans to lineup starting at 8:00am the day of the show. So bring your smiles and stories as I will undoubtedly be blogging the day away.

Heads up folks: You will definitely want to pencil us in for next Wednesday (July 16) for a little hip hop lovin’ at the Roxy. Some of the original boys from the old-school Oakland rap scene are passing thru and we are happy to have them. They are some of the pioneers in West Coast rap and it is hot!! Make sure you come and check out one of our favs The Gray Kid, along with Maddie Lauer, and Apoetnomadali.
How excited we are for SHWAYZE next week?? He’s clearly the Buzz of the summer (pun intended…) and even tho we MIGHT be a little biased…we know Shwayze is going to be huge. The hot new reality show “Buzzin” premieres in just a few weeks on MTV, so make sure you come out and celebrate next week with our favorite boys Shwayze, Cisco, and Skeet Skeet. June Boom! The Sunset Strip was on fire this month. SSMF, Crystal Castles sold-out midnight show, TRVS+DJAM w/ Too Short and (last but not least)the return of Shuvel, all made June a hit. Coming off of May, we worried if we would be able to keep the great photos coming. We were not dissapointed. Great job everyone! Uber blogger Perez Hilton - is a lot of things. But one thing we must give the dude credit for is his extreme taste in music. He has his fingers on the pulse for SURE. He’s given us the hot tip on everyone from Amy Winehouse to our boy Shwayze. And while this time we were literally just moments ahead of his post, we are happy to announce the ultra hot TWO SPOT GOBI has been added to the Push Play show on August 16. They are coming all the way from over seas to play our stage and we can’t wait to welcome them wth open arms.
