Thanks to all you came out last night to be a part of the FREE MSTKRFT show and video shoot. As always, they killed it! Whenever The Roxy looks like THIS …you know its a great one.
Two words. BILLY IDOL. For all of you that were lucky enough to catch the show last night, hope you had a great time. Farewell Freddy…it has been such an amazing run!

Adele sounded so sweet. A capacity crowd was awed by the amazing voice of the British star. After a late start, all worries melted away when the twenty year old took to the stage and began to deliver what was a special performance. When all was said and done, everyone left singing “Chasing Pavements” and wanting more.
Everyone is already tired of hearing me rave about John Corbett - but I just had to show them a little blog love! It’s always fun to check in with a cool group of guys enjoying a little time on the road. Everyone was in such good spirits last night, and it was really great to watch them rock out. John is definitely a new office favorite and we can’t wait until he visits us again!
Special shout out to Tara, Dave, Hawk & John!
John and Band hanging in the office
Here at The Roxy we like to think we have an ear for what’s hot…what we love…and what bands we know will hit it big. But TOKIO HOTEL fooled us all!! We knew they were huge overseas - but with no album out in the US, we were a little hesitant. But something told us to take the chance - and we did! The rest…lives in Roxy history. A sold out show…a line down the block…fanatic fans from all over the world…and a few new fans too To this day, we still remember the Tokio Hotel madness with nothing but good thoughts. We know we hold a special spot in their hearts too! As the Roxy crew gathered around to check out the final version of the album, we were floored when we opened the album to see pictures taken in our very own backstage - and even more exciting was when we took the CD out of the case only to see our very own Roxy artwork. The new album hits stores today - and as the site of their first US show, we hope their 1st US release breaks records!
For all you folks that bucked up and braved Texas for this year’s SXSW extravaganza…and for those that would rather stay and live vicariously thru others - I give you, Ms. Megan Jacobs - and her blog!

SxSW - Austin, Texas - 2008
Still laughing - still exhausted- still deaf - still drying out - still laughing.
Had the best time ever in Austin, Texas. Pushed myself further than I thought I could go. From band to band and just hand me another cocktail my friend. The highlights of the story go something like this…. Continue reading ‘The SXSW Journey’
