Talk about wasting no time. Organizers for the Sunset Strip Music Festival have already determined the dates for its third year. It will run from Thursday, August 12th through the 14th, with a Sunset Strip street closure on the last day.
“The first-ever street festival brought a renewed energy to The Sunset Strip, and we received a tremendous amount of positive response from the press, attendees, artists and city officials following the event,” said festival Executive Director Todd Steadman in a statement. “We are excited to solidify a date for 2010, and we are thrilled to build on the success of the event for next year.”

Saint Motel have become known for their incredible live shows, and the buzz has gotten bigger and bigger over the past few months. Coming off of their just finished residency at Spaceland that boasted lines around the building and unreal performances, we are proud to bring you Saint Motel’s The BLACK & WHITE Show presented by KROQ Locals Only on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7. General Admission price of $75 includes Live Performances by Thick as Thieves, Moi, Kelly Dalton and Los Pinguos along with MC Comedian Chris Millhouse and DJ Race Banner (check out their pages and stay tuned for announcements), a fabulous vegetarian buffet and legendary Live Auction memorabilia. As an added plus, you are encouraged to dress up as your favorite wild animal — you could even win a prize!
PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for buying tickets on this website is Midnight, Friday, November 13, 2009. After that, you can purchase tickets the evening of the event at The Roxy Box Office for $81.50.
PARKING: Valet parking at the Roxy is $7 (a good deal, considering other options in the area). The least expensive parking is $5 in lot directly across the street (9000 Sunset Blvd.)
