so i know that there’s no point in living in the past, but there are some things that you just can’t help but talking about, and for me right now that’s the show with MSTRKRFT and steve aoki on wednesday night. for me, probably the best show i’ve seen at the roxy in my nearly two years here. the vibe in the room was unmatchable - everyone was dancing to the beat and rocking out like i’ve never seen it. if you aren’t familiar with mstrkrft, check ‘em out - www.myspace.com/mstrkrft, you won’t be disappointed. i can’t wait to get these guys back here for another amazing night. i snagged some pictures from lastnightsparty.

We are very excited to welcome BPM Magazine to The Roxy. BPM has put a super hot lineup for their one-night stand on the westside. Visting us from East York, Toronto is the electro dance duo Mstrkrft with DJs Lazaro Casanova from Miami and LA’s own Steve Aoki.
MSTRKRFT (pronounced Master Craft) is the pet project of Toronto musician Jesse F. Keeler (Death From Above 1979) and studio wizard Al-P (Girlsareshort), two music-loving homies who’ve been itching to make people dance as hard as they’ve rock out in the past.
“It all comes down to feel,†states AL-P. “We’re interested in making people feel like they want to dance, at least a little bit, so it’s all about whatever it takes to get people there.â€
