Saint Motel have become known for their incredible live shows, and the buzz has gotten bigger and bigger over the past few months. Coming off of their just finished residency at Spaceland that boasted lines around the building and unreal performances, we are proud to bring you Saint Motel’s The BLACK & WHITE Show presented by KROQ Locals Only on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7. This one will feature mind bending black and white video projections around the venue, $5 black & white drinks specials, and additional music from the amazing Rumspringa, Red Wire Messenger (formerly The Cheat) and more. As Metromix put it, “Saint Motel never fail to put on a show that’s a treat for the senses.” This one should go off. Tickets on sale now so grab them before they’re gone.

Jason Mraz and his band Groovline Horns made their bed at The Roxy last night. Showing up after their sold out Hollywood Bowl show at midnight to continue the party. We pulled a late night permit and kept the party going until 3am! So funky! Big thanks to all the fans who stayed up late as well as Jason, Bushwalla, and the oh so funky horn section. Let’s do that again soon. Lucky for us house photog Erik Voake was on the scene to capture the fun.
To this generation Adam was our bridge between genres of music and culture that had not yet been brought together. He made it cool for the metal rockers to listen to hip hop, the bboys to bang their heads and the electro kids sing a long to a 70’s ballad . I think it will be years ’til we truly understand how he shaped the way that we see and hear music. AM made music fun again. DJ AM FOREVER!

Judging by the quantity of phone calls we received yesterday, we had a heads up that last night was going to be bananas. It started with a sold out Super Mash Bros show (anyone who mixes Jay Z and Katy Perry is Ok by me), where they proved to us why they are the talk of the town. As if that wasn’t hot enough, we then welcomed Zoe Kravitz and her band “Elevator Fight” for a special midnight showcase complete with a lovely DJ set by the fabulous J*Davey.
