This has been quite the day! As show time is rapidly approaching - the line keeps growing! Everyone is so into this show - even our big guys! (who are actually teddy bears…shhhh don’t tell!) Thanks again to all the fans for being so great, and polite, and respectful to our home!
So having been a fanatic fan at one point in my life as well, i FULLY appreciate the intensity that is currently camped out outside the office window. Perhaps my favorite part…THE POSTERS!! Take a look at the beautiful art currently making the Sunset Strip home.

So friends, the time is here!! We never thought this day would come…and now here we are! It’s been non stop Tokio for a few weeks now - and we’d like to thank all the dedicated fans who have flown in from all over the world - to see the band in their FIRST US appearance! You’ve made this, what is sure to be, an amazing SOLD OUT show! We knew today would be a great day, because as we left the Roxy yesterday evening - after a hard days work - we ran into the band on the corner! They seemed to be loving the Sunset strip already…and seemed very excited for the show! Just to give you an idea of what what’s going on here at the club, at 9:30 am…here’s a few pics of some of our favorite fans in line so far.
Voted one of the Top 10 Artists to watch by Rolling Stone Magazine and hot off of John Mayer’s rockin cruise ship the Mayercraft (you know you saw those pictures!) we cannot be happier that Brett Dennen is a part of the amazing benefit we have going on March 6th. His legendary collaborations with everyone from Ray Charles to Red Hot Chilli Peppers (and everyone inbetween) has helped secure Maceo Parker as a true timeless musician. A performance not to be missed! Make sure you come early…and stay late - as the rest of the lineup for the night is just as sensational. We have Grand Pianoramax featuring Celena Glenn, hot funk/soul local favorite Orgone - and our good friend DJ Medi4 spinning the tracks all night! As one of our favorite DJ’s, we know he’ll get the night rolling right! (Did you catch him during the amazing B-52’s show last year?) It’s a must see!
Okay so, Valentine’s day is almost here. You can acknowledge it…or be like one of the Roxy girls and pretend like it doesn’t exist (not that we’re bitter…). Either way, you are definitely encouraged to come spend an amazing night here on Thursday - celebrating love or just some amazing tunes. Just wanted to take a second and say a BIG congratulations to Ms Amy Winehouse for all her wins at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards last night! Her album really was one of the best of the year…and as soon as she played the Roxy stage we KNEW she was going to be a star!
